Your Metabolism has two components. Catabolism and Anabolism. Catabolic exercise break downs proteins, fats and tissues to create energy, and Anabolic exercise  builds new tissue to heal or make us stronger.  How might we balance these types of outcomes to ensure maximum success. Paul suggest a basic outline of the training year with the interference between strength training and bike riding in mind.
